Today's Learning Targets:
- I can analyze a short story.
 - I can use art to show my comprehension.
 - I can use direct quotes to support my interpretation.
 - I can write a properly punctuated sentence.

- "An American Childhood" Plot Review
 - Art or Drama? (Storyboard or Slide Show?)
 - Exit Ticket #2: Tell us something about the first week of winter trimester. Remember that "I" is capitalized and "I'm" has an apostrophe.

- Reread the chase scene - from "Often, of course ..." (226) to "He caught us and we all stopped" (227).
 - Pick four important events to illustrate.
 - For each event, include a quotation that helps us understand your illustration. Copy the author's words directly. Put the author's words in quotation marks and put the page number in parentheses after the quotation.
 - Use color for extra credit.
